What GridPiggy is
GridPiggy is a directory and comparison service. We list installers, publish reviews and help you shortlist. We are not a party to any contract you sign with an installer, and we don't install, supply or warrant any equipment.
Using the site as a household
- Searching and comparing is free.
- Reviews must describe your own experience with a completed job.
- Don't post someone else's personal details, or content you don't have the right to publish.
Listings and accuracy
Unclaimed listings are assembled from public records and may be incomplete or out of date — they're labelled as such. Claimed listings are maintained by the business, which is responsible for keeping licence numbers, accreditations and service areas accurate.
Reviews and responses
We remove reviews that are abusive, off-topic or demonstrably false, and we may remove reviews we can't connect to a real job. Businesses can reply publicly to any review on their listing; replies are subject to the same rules.
Estimates are estimates
Savings figures, payback periods and system sizes shown on the site are planning estimates based on typical usage. They are not quotes, and they are not financial advice. Your actual result depends on your roof, your usage, your retailer and the system you buy.
Business accounts
- You must be authorised to act for the business you claim.
- Paid features change what you can show, never your position in search results.
- We may suspend a listing that misrepresents licences or accreditation.
Liability
To the extent permitted by Australian law, GridPiggy isn't liable for the work, conduct or statements of any listed business. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
