The short version
You can search and compare installers without an account and without giving us your name. We don't sell your details to lead brokers, and an installer only sees your contact information after you choose to send them a request.
What we collect
- Search terms — the suburb or postcode you type, so we can return results.
- Quote requests — only the fields you fill in, and only when you submit them.
- Business account details — for installers who claim a listing: ABN, licence number and a contact.
- Basic analytics — aggregate page views and search volumes, not tied to an identity.
What we don't do
- We don't sell or rent personal information.
- We don't pass your details to installers you haven't chosen.
- We don't use your data to change where a business ranks in results.
Cookies
We use the minimum needed to keep the site working — remembering your last search and measuring aggregate traffic. You can clear or block them in your browser without losing access to anything on the site.
Reviews
Reviews are published with the name the reviewer gives; their email address is never shown. We remove reviews that contain personal information about a third party, and businesses can respond publicly to any review on their listing.
Your choices
- Ask for a copy of what we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct or delete it.
- Withdraw a quote request before an installer has responded.
Requests go to our contact form and would be answered within 30 days.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we'll say so on this page and date the change at the top.
