What does CEC accredited actually mean?
It means the installer holds current accreditation from the Clean Energy Council for designing and installing the type of system you're buying. Federal rebates generally require it, so it's worth checking before you sign anything.
Why do some listings say "unclaimed"?
Unclaimed listings are built from public records and customer reviews — the business hasn't confirmed the details yet. They're still useful for comparison, but response times and product lists may be out of date.
Does GridPiggy sell my details to installers?
No. You choose which installers see your request, and searching is free and anonymous. This site is a prototype, so no request is actually sent anywhere.
How is the estimated saving calculated?
From typical household usage, local feed-in tariffs and average system output for your postcode. It's a planning estimate, not a quote — your real number depends on your roof, your usage pattern and your retailer.
